Dear God, it was through Mary the mother of your son Jesus was born. Thank you for choosing the woman to carry/bring the next generation of your people to this life. Mothers are very special and were created to love her child and the family unlike no other.

I am asking a special prayer today on mother's day for all those who answered this calling. I am also praying for those who desire to be a mother and have yet to experience being one.

Thank you for the lives that I have touched and will continue to touch as you place them into my path. It is only you that deserves all glory, honor, and praise.

Watch over the mothers as they stand in the gap for their families and loved ones. Continue to give them wisdom to be the leaders that this generation needs. Without you we are nothing, in you we breathe and have our being.

I praise and lift your name on high for you are my sword and shield. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.
