Today I give myself to you father in this prayer to use for your glory. I acknowledge that you are the only wise God our savior. Your majesty and splendor exceeds all that we could ask for or think. As we enter into this new year. Certainly it is one where we do not know where it may lead us. We only know that we will travel it with you. For you have said that you will never leave or forsake us and that you would be with us always even until the end of time. I have that assurance that you are my God and that you will provide everything I need according to your riches in glory.

You are my peace, my joy, my breath and my strength. You are a keeper to those who want to be kept. Your mercy is new every morning. As I go from place to place this year, teach me to be more attentive to your voice leading me along the way. I ask this in the name of the father, and my Lord Jesus the Christ.
